I was p2 in a race were the water depth was 3.5mm after I pitted I came out p4 then when i was back to p2 when everyone pitted I saw the leader was on inters!!! And still pulling away from me I was shocked and wanted to know what was going on!!!!!

Maybe that had nothing to do with his choice of tyres, but with many other factors such as car and pilot stats, new engine, kers, fuel level... I mean, maybe with wets he could have been even faster. Is it possible that you did less stops, hence making your car significantly heavier than his?

Give us more info about the person leading. Are they leading their championship by a considerable amount, do they win alot of races?

With this info I either think it's a bug or that driver has some crazy hidden attributes.

After looking at the results of the Japan round and examining both your team and the manager in question, my guess is that it's due to them being a higher level and having a better driver than you.  Not really a satisfactory conclusion, or one that's logically sound either, but it's best reason I can come up with.
