I vaguely remember an announcement that pitbox release code was changed in the recent past (forgive me I can't find a thread on it). I feel it is actually worse now.
As I recall (please correct me if I'm wrong), the code was changed so the a driver would not be held in the box for more than a second after being available to go?
As an example: I have two drivers, each in seperate teams (our league allows that). They happen to be very evenly matched and often find themselves pitting within seconds of each other. Almost EVERY time the driver further down the pitlane (the lower ranked driver based on last season) pulls out in front of the other driver and slows him down SUBSTANTIALLY, even if he entered the pit behind. In real life this is known as an 'UNSAFE RELEASE'! This means the higher ranked driver, who has the 'advantage' of being at the start of the pitlane, has no advantage at all, infact has a significant dis-advantage! When you add this to the known issues at Monaco and Malaysia which further disadvantages drivers who are at the start of the lane, it is very unfair and frustrating!
