I would like to know, how much should driver progress in one training section (one press train button) and of course what it determines.
In my case it was first 18 progress points then 16 and after 16 now is 3??? I hope it is a bug.

The training progress slows as the driver levels up and approaches your manager level. A driver who has been trained to a higher level than your manager level will display as five red stars and their training progress will reduce to 3 points per single training session.
The next time you level up as a manager, the driver will most likely become five yellow stars again and the training progress will increase slightly.

Thanks, and is there any option to gain 28 xp now in midseason for myself because I'm 28 xp short till lvl 6. :)

Check that daily rewards button on your igp home screen and/or shop section. The day one is 20xp plus a chance of further 5xp or so. The following day you need luck, though, as it's parts as main reward I think and I forgot the ones for the following days, but probably money and an engine. But after claiming the first you could skip a day and not claiming to reset it and repeat then the first one.
