Unable to Chat in race chat

What did you try to do?
To communicate with other racers via the in-race chat option.

Keyboard doesn't display so doesn't allow input.

Can the bug be reproduced?
Happens consistently in every race. Only happened since last app update.

Additional comments:
Was working correctly, but since latest update, have come across this new issue. Chat displays and works fine, I just cannot type messages as the keyboard input doesn't show.

What did you try to do?
I tried to chat in a live race. When i press the bar on the bottom in the chat screen, my keyboard does not come up. This happened after i updated my Oneplus 8 Pro to Oxygen OS 11.

What happened instead?
Nothing. I couldn't chat in live races. I could post in the league.

I also have this issue with Samsung S20 update on Android 11

A quick update on this. We’re working it fix this incompatibility with Android 11. Next update will contain a fix for this issue. Apologies for the wait, we’re working hard to improve this situation.

I’m sad to read that, can you specify the glitch please?

In yesterday race we got kicked out during a wet race. When we was able to get back in we had been put on sofas also all the tyre information disappeared.

This issue should be fixed . It was announced yesterday on the changelog.

• Fixed Google Play login failing.


• Fixed AndroidX users not been able to upload Profile Photo.


• Fixed some android devices not being able to use keyboard on chat.


• Removed chat send button in live race chat. You can now use keyboard enter button for sending chat messages.
