Probably 26.1 is the fuel after one lap, not at the end of the pit lane.
Luke Minetola medal 5000 4 years 39 days ago
Still it doesn't make any sense. 29+4.6-3 (3 liters consumed in the lap) would be 30.6 liters remaining. It shouldn't have been 26.1.

You decide the liters that the car must have after refueling, you don't decide the liters to add.
So, you set 29, you had 4.6 so the game automatically added (29-4.6 = )24.4L.

Where would that be written in the guide? The only part of the help guide referring to fuel states:
Fuel is measured in litres wherever it is added to the car, but a lap estimate is supplied with it. The accuracy of this lap estimate may vary.
Hence, the liters selected during the race are expected to be added, not the total

First... which guide? There are no official guides... and on the other hand.. this is how it works, now you know it and you won t make a mistake..stop
Probably in the guide the guy used wrong words since 99% of the cases added fuel and "set" fuel are almost the same

That's directly from the game help/manual.
What Joao wrote is correct, you set the target amount of fuel for pitstops, not the amount to be added on top of the fuel already in the car.
Got to go to work now but I'll bring the matter of the wording up so hopefully that part can be clarified (if no other mod or José does in the meantime already).

Thank you Frank for your polite answer without any use of rude tones.
The issue with this system is a more complicated inrace strategy. If a pit stop is anticipated for any reason, a much faster recalculation Is expected from a user. Calling a last minute pit stop due to weather condition could be one example.
