The last 3 weeks only one new member joined the league! Why?? We lost promotions! Never happens

I have 15 teams but 1 has been on about 20mins before i post this, 1 was on about 7 hours ago and the rest are shown inactive from 14 days to 29 days. Be nice to know if they are generated fill-ins or not and if not then i guess the game just wasn't interesting enough for them.

Hello,

For your league to appear on the league filter, it needs to have 14 members (2 car league) or 30 members (1 car league) in the tier. 

For example, this thread is about Rookie. Steve's league has only 10 out of 32 Rookies, therefore the league won't show on the Rookie league filter.  

A way to combat this problem is to add 'filler teams' to boost the league up to 14/30 to get it onto the league filter and then slowly remove them as members join.

Something has significantly changed then because it never worked like that before?  To expect leagues to fill out spaces so there are always 30 in the Rookie league leaving just 2 spaces is seriously flawed and will kill off a lot of leagues.

Im not to sure as my league had 11 rookies and i was searched the things for my league and it came up even though their was only 11/16.. (this was with an account thats not in my league)

Hello,

IIRC, the league filter starts by showing leagues with 14 members, and if there isn't any that fit the criteria, it moves down to 13 and repeats the process... however, most of the time it shows 14 manager 2 car leagues.

Try adding a few dormant placeholder accounts to Rookie to get your league onto the filter... this may help to attract new players. 

You can also advertise your league on the Leagues and Events subforum which may attract new players.

Yes, however the team number is less important now as with working filters pre-set to own language and race start time around the time at which the new manager is currently playing thins the number of possible leagues down considerably, thus a better chance for even badly filled leagues to show up.

To be expected unfortunately, as you wrote lack of new players in those last 3 weeks, but those two lately, so everyone inactive from early on of the old Rookies is about due to be auto-kicked now (30 days inactivity in Rookie tier).

Similar situation in my league which has 27 in elite, 22 in pro and 18 in rookie, the rookie tier has been stuck at 18 teams for well over a week now after clearing inactive accounts. This is incredibly rare for my league which hasn’t struggled to see new players for well over a year probably a lot longer tbh, I’ve had the privilege to see on a consistently regular basis, new players join us within hours, even minutes of making available places in rookie, which has allowed the league to achieve a healthy rotation of new players and be as active as it is today, now all of a sudden this trend has come to a sudden halt it seems and now it’s becoming a real concern.
