Advice for League Switching plz

Hi all,
Ive recently fnished my first season in the Newbies League, with a next season progress of about 50% and winning the title.
I left the league as the next tier is quite empty, and decided to join the BRL.

My question, i will be racing Abu Dhabi for a 2nd time, now in the new league, Will my design be affected in any way?
Of course, im concerned that the end of this league will put me to 1% progress lol.

Ive read forums posts about scaling, so im wondering is it safe for me to continue with this last race of this new league? or should i quit the league and rejoin tomorrow once it ends to avoid any design problems?

to let everyone know, i was advised via the league chat to leave the league and avoid any end of season design conflicts, and rejoin when the season is over.
hope this info can help someone, or save any mistakes ;)

I really only have two suggestions, for future reference:

1. Never leave a league during the middle of the season
   
2. Never join a league that has less than two weeks (real-time) left to run in its current season. (I personally only join leagues within the first maybe four races at the latest. During season break is preferred.)

I was able to leave the new league just before the last race and i rejoined when its new schedule was updated. So i escaped any "double reset" ><
For certain, ill make sure any new league i join in the future has actually finished first.
