Bonus point for fastest lap

I don't see how this enhances the game. It's not real F1 and iGP isn't a driving game so why do we need it? If implemented it's going to further encourage people to hang on to boost for the final lap.

If it's top 10 only it won't prevent people who have no chance of finishing in the top 10 from saving boost and pitting on the penultimate lap to fit SS just to prevent one of the top 10 from getting the fastest lap point.

That iGP not being F1 business is there to make clear that just because F1 does something or not is not seen as a point pro or contra a suggestion. If F1 suddenly decides their cars are required to be able to carry a cage of goats non-stop a distance equal from Monaco to Barcelona it's all fine and good for them, but what's important to me is if doing something similar in iGP adds to and/or damages the game play. 

In this case I don't really see the benefit of it, how it would add to the skill based managing. It's just another point to make sure to have a fast last lap beside the battle for position with a bunch of problems like having to be limited to top 10 to avoid that racing out of points turns into a meaningless waiting and preparing to do a quick last lap. Even then, if a car ends up ahead a pit stop delta plus a couple seconds of the next (not own team) car and the one ahead is out of reach that manager would be stupid not to a ridiculous extra pit stop just to go for that fastest lap. Also even holding back boost might harm those doing it, this suggestion is still encouraging it and being a trap or not, no matter who, if someone falls for it, it'd hurt the competition. For what gain?

ps: Hats cost token, some of them get bought by real money, this real money can be spent on servers or other development areas, or, at least after recovering its costs, adding manpower to the same area.
