Connection Lag

What did you try to do?
Tried to catch Drs, estimate distance to back markers and basically just race.

What happened instead?
Since the 3D update, there’s always been some sort of connectivity issue. Right now, the lag has become so bad it’s affecting proper boost usage which in turn affects the whole race.

Sometimes the visuals will show you behind about just a sec and by the time you blink, it’s updated and you are really about 5 secs behind. Imagine that happening just before the Drs zone. Total boost wastage.

Without knowing your cars exact position on the track, you really can’t have a proper race.

Yes, happens almost every race now.

Additional comments:
There are some races the visuals will show you behind a car you have about 2 secs on when you come out of the pits and then along the lap, you see your car just fast forward to its proper spot.

its seems to work again, anyway last race was much better...  :)

Doesn't work for me. There is so much jitter it's not even funny.

I understand y’all are busy with updates and ‘secret’ stuff. While I appreciate the innovative attempts, isn’t it pointless if we can’t play the game?

Hello managers,

We are preparing an update that should improve this kind of behaviour, we recommend to play on the app when using mobile devices or tablets and the standalone app when using desktop (since this last on browser is using a very old version of WebGL, we will address this at some point in September).

I dont agree to this.... i am using the app on by android it is Huawei mate 20x one the the best phones for gamings with good processors.

But I am facing the lag too..... sorry Noob i left your league as being online is more of a headache..... in offline league for now and might even quit the game.

A small update on the status of this. We are planning for the next version of the update to enter beta testing in the next few days. The reason we are taking longer than expected is that we prefer not to rush and release an update with a lot of fixes and that is stable.

Honestly, this update should have been how the 3D update should have been released, but not everything always goes as we wish and we have to meet deadlines that we had already set with the marketing teams, agencies and others. Once again I thank you for the wait and I am sure it will be worth it.

WebGL (browser version) will take longer. Can I ask why you don’t give a try to the standalone app version?

I really hope the update will fix stability in 2D mode as well. As of now every race is like a 50/50 lottery: it either will lag and/or crash a lot or be absolutely smooth. Really looking forward to the update soon)
