Please make the data/info text circle transparent just like the text box. The solid circle can sometimes hide the visibility of the car behind you given them a strategic edge in those blind spots, especially when it's just before a DRS zone.

Absolutely yes. It also often covers and hides both your and your opponent's kers icon.
