Cannot Sell CD After Signing New One Fm Headquarters

What did you try to do?
I signed a CD from my headquarters and am trying to release the CD I already had

What happened instead?
The “sell” button is grayed out and if I click it, it tells me I “have the minimum allowed number of staff of this type. Hire more first”. I am able to sell the CD I just signed from headquarters, but NOT the CD that was already on my staff that I want to release.

Additional comments:
I also signed a new TD from HQ and was able to sell the other TD fine, so this is specifically affecting CD only, for me anyway.

Is the CD you can't sell within the last 3 races of their contract? I just had the same thing and it was only letting me extend the contract. I extended it and then sold straight away and it was OK.

I'm finding since the update that I need to completely close down the app amd restart before something takes affect.  For instance I just bought 5 x engines in the shop but my total amount of engines didn't increase. I closed the app, opened again and they were there.  Seen the same thing with making and saving notes too.

Interestingly, when I just went to check if that CD was in last 3 races of contract I discovered he isn’t even on my staff anymore…so, problem “solved” I guess lol

Did you put the new hire into the job or are they retiring? Those are things people miss a lot that stop sales.

Thats a good point, I cam't remember if I had another CD when I was trying to sell one.
