I say it depends.

If the old driver is maxed out he’ll be quicker than say a young driver you just got from the academy. But if stats are comparable the young driver will be stronger. I’ll say stats have a greater impact than the attribute.

looking at your drivers, I say just switch the younger one now

I’d say the 20 yr old.  Legendary Racecraft is OP and all the stats are easily trained

Both are basically maxed out so I just bought the legendary for the younger one thank you so much! I will save up 100 tokens and buy common soon lol. (might auction my old one as I can't afford him)

Assuming they both have the same stats and useful BMI the next thing would be assuming the 30yo would have maxed experience and the 20yo fairly low experience. This stat is the most useful next to BMI and Stamina. However over time the 20yo will gain experience and be costing less anyway. If you can get another academy driver that is fairly similar to the 20yo then it would be better to do that and get them both up to speed at the same time. If the 30yo is from the transfer market then in the next few seasons and closer to retiring they will cost much much more.
