Best TD Stats

If I had 200 coins to burn on my TD, What would the best special ability be to accompany the Legendary trait.
Would it be Fuelling?, Design?, Telemetry? or Race Engineer?,  Please advise.
Secondly, would it matter how many stars the TD would have prior to upgrading.
Thirdly, how much of a difference would this process actually make to your overall performance. Please advise

The best skill for TDs is Design; it offers the most advantages. Max it out, and for the skill, choose between acc or handling. The TD used for research must be 5 stars; the other TDs can have half a star.

Now we're getting somewhere. thanks for your input guys, To Joe Banana, am I right in thinking that you're suggesting that I have more than one TD??

To achieve better development, it is necessary to have 5 TDs.

No, it's the TD you select; it's the first one displayed when you click on your profile.
