Stop brutal punishment for winning a rain race.

I'm aware that this is a known problem.
A few days ago I had a really successful rain race. 1st and 3rd. My normal results are just trying to get points. So my objectives were for around 10th. Now my objectives, after three races, are still too high to achieve. I have lost over 10 million of in game cash from an account that was only at 22 million. This cannot be that hard to fix. It is just math which can be programed easily. Simply take the average finishing posistion of the last 17 races and use that as an objective.

So why isn't it fixed yet?

+1. As I mentioned on another thread, something's wrong when you get rewarded more for consistently finishing at the back of the grid, than if you get a surprise good result which you're highly unlikely to replicate for the rest of the season.

thats very necessary i win all the races of a season except one and after the race i dont won the team that win this race on the next race lost a lot of money

It is worse than I thought. I haven't been awarded any prize money in 6 races. That is over 22 million in game cash gone.

Does anyone know if this problem is fixed. Personally I don't have a problem with it since I win almost every race, but my fellow competitors do and I'm afraid they will lose the fun in the game if they keep losing their money

I agree with this.

I agree the objectives are way out of touch and unrealistic. As you say, a team that has an unexpected win or finishes 2nd, suddenly has a win race or finish 2nd objective even though the highest they finished before is say 7th.

I would say thr the objective has to factor other things in to the equation such as car stats, driver stats, recent finishing position and also possibly the condition of the car.

I created a thread not so long ago asking for the objective to be known for thr next race much earlier than what is currently happening so we can plan ahead.

I think it'd be interesting to be able to PICK your own goals. Just finishing the race is a small goal, placing in the bottom half gives a bit more, top half, a bit more, top 5, podium, and win. You'll probably know your team better than any algorithm will, so this way, one outlier race doesn't unfairly tip the scales against you. There's other games with systems like this, when you sign a sponsor, you can tell them how you expect to perform, and fulfilling your end of the deal gives you a bonus, whether it's a week to week basis or at the end of the season.

Maybe this thing needs to be adjusted to the sponsorship agreements, or you can do it on your own, if you know you will end at the bottom half, sign higher fixed amount contracts, dont go for bonuses!

I didn't realize that this is what has been causing me to lose so much money. It's slowly been pecking all enjoyment out of the game

Sou o segundo na classificação da liga. Meus resultados tem sido excelentes com 4°, 3°, 2° e apenas duas vezes em 1° lugar. Mas acredito que esses resultados são ótimos na competição. O problema é que estou falido.

Sponsers I think should have go as like top15, top 10, top 5, podium, win, and if you have run a full season then add a aide goal where you get a bonus payout if your driver gets a better finish than the previous year... I though o this because sponsers won't want to sppnser loosing teams... Also if your consistently meeting goals you get access to better sponsers like if my average finish is for two cars is 11th I would have access to better sponsers but if over the next three races my average finish drops to 16th I get dropped by current sponsers who require an average finish of 15th or better and then have to sign a less prestigious sponsor

I totaly agree, totday im verry happy to finish 2e and 4e, BAM one big message on the screen with the places where i fight for.
Im very disappointed that i dont earn any money, my goal was finish 1, i dont know that before, and if i know it i never had to reachfor it.
Nummer 1 is very strong racer.
If this is the way to let players buy money in the game the fun is over for me!

I agree with this. I think the place for the target to be selected should be at the point you sign your sponsor. You should be able to choose a sponsor who pays a higher bonus but expects better results or keep the target low but get less income. I'd also like to see varying lengths of sponsor contracts. When both sponsors renew every 10 races it means you renew both at the same time every time and if you level up you are stuck with a lower income than you could get until the current contracts are both up.

One way to get round the issue, is use the sponsors that don't have high prize money and all upfront if you are sceptical about getting the results you need.
