2D page loads up as a Blank Black Screen

Could you tell me as much information as you can about your computer setup and Internet connection?  In particular:

• What browsers have you tried (and what versions)?
  
• What operating system are you running?
  
• What kind of internet connection do you have and what speed?
  
• Are there any restrictions on your internet connection such as those imposed on office networks?
  
• What kind of computer hardware are you using: what power cpu and how much ram and any other relevant details?
  
• Is there anything else you can think of that is unusual in your situation that might explain why you are experiencing the problem?
  

I'll work with you directly to do some more debugging if there is no clear problem with any of the above.

I also have this problem, just 'connecting' once I open the window, and if i click outside of it, the connecting disappears and it just goes black. This is the same on both chrome and firefox.
I know java is fully up to date because when i first tried it, it told me java was out of date and I should update, so i did and then it doesn't work anyway!
I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
10mb down sky broadband, wired connection.
I'm on an i5 750, 2.67ghz quad core, 4gb RAM

I havent been able to get the 2d mode view at all since i started this game!! I tried on 3 diffrent browser but none worked.

Im on win 7 pro
cable broadband internet
i have an AMD phenom 2 3.2 ghz quad core

I will try again by reinstalling java on my pc and see but it never worked for me!! even though any other websites that uses java works fine!!

Ihave got the same problem here. sunday i had no problem and yesterday it stayed on connecting.
I have update Java but this don’t help. I use firefox and IE 9 and both have the same problem I play on a laptop whit windows 7 and a Pentium 2.1Ghz
