 As given in your example - be the first car, not the second.   

 Also  - "you are faster", "your car is very fast" - if so then why aren't you leading the race but second? 
 According to your description I imagine you leading 15 seconds and DRS KERS doesnt really matter.

In that case, arguably it should be okay to add a  "lucky boost" that is given to 1 driver randomly per race. It should cancel out in the long term because sometimes you benefit sometimes someone else does. But just because it's seemingly "fair" does not make it correct, fun or needed if you get what I mean.
If you are not okay with having a "lucky boost" system, then you are not okay with drs from backmarkers existing in the game.

I'd much prefer less luck be involved and for it to be more up to the manager rather than something basically unpredictable, managers shouldn't be forced to think about people who are redundant to the final results of the race. On another note, blue flags should be in iGP too

All jokes aside tho. For the sake of argument ima flip it again.

When i look around this forum i see all sorts of stuff like 'we want reality'
People seems to want: updated f1 calendar, crashes, yellows, blues, sc's, vsc's, injured drivers, more car specs, 1 guy even said copy f1,
Flat tyres, out of fuel is dnf, and-so-on, 

But when drs doesnt go 'our' way, suddenly it has to be eliminated from the game. Lapped cars give drs in real f1 too..........

I think its mostly a false sense of entitlement, people FEEL LIKE they deserve the win, but didnt get what they want so they come up with another
'great idea' to flip things back in their favour.
Im glad i dont have this flaw. I can only celebrate teams like Sak beating me while im lvl 18 and Sak is 16.
Maybe i should come up with a 'great idea' OFF TRACK (by means of forumtopics) to flip the odds in my favour again

And on that note, back to the original idea.
To turn off drs for people not active;
I work irregular hours, sometimes i get called n hv to leave on the spot, making me unable to do any form of setup.
Im guessing im not the only one.
Should we (inactives from time to time) all be punished and lose our drs because we can not attend and some people cant handle defeat?

Drs is a way to strategise, kers is a way to strategise, why cant lapped-car-drs simply be seen as another way to strategise?
A lot of people seem to want reality, f1-lapped-car-drs is a reality.


As soon as people speak of unfair...... they are usually being unfair to others.
