[Java Issues] - Help the Developers with your feedback.

I've adjusted the system so that if you decline an upgrade request the applets will still try to load using the currently installed Java version.  I hope this solves the problems mentioned here.

Is there any way I can help for Mac users? I'm running 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), and apparently Java 7 isn't compatible for anything below Lion (10.7).

Live timing does not use Java, only the controls.

In the form in which it was discovered, the exploit only works on Windows machines, because the payload that it downloads is a Windows executable. But the hackers behind the Metasploit penetration testing software say they have studied the exploit and found that it could just as easily be used to attack machines running Linux or Mac OS X, given the appropriate payload.

This does not effect Windows.

my issue is that the screen stays white the whole time. when I wait very long, it finally says: can't connect to race.igpmanager.com

I have the latest version of java, all my display adapters/graphics cards are up to date and still i get nothing.
When i used the 3 trials on the 2D viewer, i just got a blank grey screen and thought nothing of it. But now, with the new live timings i get the same blank grey screen.
i have to use the mobile timings to see what is going on in races

On LinuxMint 14 KDE 2D java starts but window stays grey. 
Any thoughts on how to fix that?

Same except I just get a black screen

I need some help with my Java.. I booted it up and it's saying that it's blocked because it's an unsecure connection and I can't get into the timings at all.

Any idea on how to sort this? I just have a black page with an X in the top right corner.

Ok. I am in after 3 re-boots and a lot of messing around.

I have no idea what was wrong, but it was something to do with the Java update as 2 others had issues getting in and that is the 1st thing they said when they joined.. Dam Java updates :D

There appears to be a new version of Java today (Version 7 Update 25)

It was something to do with the update that caused the crash.. It took a few re-boots of the whole PC system for it to finally kick in. It was race over for my 2, but at least I got in eventually.

I ave a problem on my windows 8.1 tablet.
I'm running IE 11 and java 7 update 45.Everytime i try and launch the 2D veiwer, i get told "You need the latest java(TM) Runtime envionment. Would you like to update now?"
If i put IE into compatibility mode, the main iGP page looks wrong, but i can then lanch the viewer.
Any ideas?
