Service interruption & slow loading times

As many of you will have experienced tonight, there was a 10 minute or so interruption to service and the site and apps have been less responsive than usual. We are aware of reasons for this and will be rolling out some improvements over the next few days, but mainly in the next 24 hours to improve the situation.

By that I mean the bulk of the improvements will be ready by tomorrow evening, and then some further improvements may be made in the days after that. Our sincere apologies to anyone whose routine was disrupted this evening.

We can handle individual requests from the hosts if a race needs to be reset and their leaguemates are in agreement.

The practice laps / setup issue is being investigated as we speak.

In about 20 minutes any races which are stuck in "live" mode and not actually running will be skipped. Although we could recover many of these they are well past their start time and it would not be fair on everyone who can not attend.

Practice laps should be working as of 20 minutes ago or so (provided your race is not in any unusual state currently).

All the races that were stuck have now been skipped. The reason we waited so long after the incident was to be sure no races that were still running were caught up in the process.
